1000 Pieces Puzzle is an international exchange programme presented by Cindy Claes Productions, Zinnema and East London Dance with the support of Erasmus+
30 artists (14 from UK, 14 from Belgium and 2 international) will spend 12 days working together to explore artistic skills in dance technique, choreography, dance film and collaboration as well as developing business skills.
1000 Pieces Puzzle is led by Cindy Claes (Belgian dancer, choreographer, playwright, dance backpacker living in London) who will be joined by an eclectic mix of some of the most exciting artists working in dance today (listed below).
“1000 Pieces Puzzle… Hands down the best dance experience I have ever had. I say ‘dance experience’, but it was so much more than that. I learned so much that has already, & will continue to, aid me in my career. However I also learned a hell of a lot about myself.” – (UK Participant, 2016)
The programme will be divided up between the UK and Belgium with all the artists spending 6 days in Brussels and 6 days in London. At the end of the 12 days, artists will share work that has been created through the residencies.
We are looking for 14 UK dance artists to participate in this dance exchange programme.
