Big Dance 2016 – Save the dates!

Big Dance have announced the dates for the final festival in 2016! This 10th anniversary will mark a decade of big dances across the UK.
Big Dance has been instrumental in bringing UK wide dance organisations together in a focused period of time, to get their local communities of artists, audiences and participants dancing. From free taster classes to large scale outdoor dance projects involving hundreds of dancers, the main aim has been to get everyone dancing and now there are plenty of opportunities for more people to get involved in next year.
The 2016 dates for the diary:
- The Big Dance Pledge – 20 May 2016, 13:00 and 19:00
- Big Dance Week – 2-10 July 2016
For 2016, there are some exciting artistic plans in the mix, which you do not want to miss out on. If you want to be involved in the UK-wide and international celebration of people dancing and sign up for the e-newsletter at www.bigdance.org.uk
Organisations, artists, and teachers are all invited to take part and organise their own events that inspires people to get dancing. If you are planning something please let us know and once its confirmed, you are welcome to register your event on the Culture Diary at www.theculturediary.com
Big Dance is led by The Greater London Authority, People Dancing and the five London Hubs including: East London Dance, English National Ballet, Greenwich Dance, Sadler’s Wells and Siobhan Davies Dance.
