New East London Youth Dance Company of 2016/17!

East London Youth Dance Company are back! After a rigorous audition process, our dancers have been selected to create the company for 2016/17, and we would love to introduce them to you.

Once again under the artistic direction of Sara Dos Santos with assistance from Marvin Drew, ELYDC has returned with brand new company members ready to create, perform and inspire you with their work. The company pride themselves in an Urban Contemporary style, which they will bring to the stage at a number of dance platforms throughout the year.

In the run up to auditions we reached far and wide with a number of taster sessions aiming to discover the best talent from across the East London region. We ran sessions from Hackney to Dagenham and worked with over 100 young people to give them a taste of being part of our unique Youth Company. We are thrilled that the company is represented by such a talented group of young dancers from across East London.
